Google Pixel 4a launch date revealed with lots of Easter Eggs !!

After the months of delays Google has finally confirmed the launch of Pixel 4a for August 3. Google did not specifically say that it’s the Pixel 4a but it’s most likely the mid-range phone. Google updated its Twitter and Facebook pages to tease the launch of its new phone. There’s a bit of work required though to figure out the Pixel 4a launch. First is the cover photo on Google’s Twitter and Facebook pages. It has a dot on the side indicating the punch-hole camera and “The Google Phone” written with coloured boxes in between. There’s also a new site link for the Google Store on its Twitter page. The website is filled with Easter Eggs which you need to solve to find out the launch date.

There are coloured boxes on top which will change to different colours of the Google logo when you tap on them. You need to change the colours of the boxes in the order of the Google logo. Hint – blue, red, yellow, blue, green, and red. Once it’s done you’ll see the text “Just What You’ve Been Waiting For Phone”. And if you scroll down below you’ll see August 3 revealed at the bottom along with the shape of a phone.

Another interesting thing is a “Lorem Ipsum” paragraph which many may not be aware of. This text is used in the publishing industry as a placeholder text when it is the real one is not available. If you read through the paragraph properly you’ll see hints of words like “lowlight capture”, “blur”, “bokeh”, “megapixel” and “long lasting battery”. These are features that will arrive with the Pixel 4a and much of what we already see on Pixel phones. Based on leaks, Google Pixel 4a is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display, and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset. It could pack 6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB as storage options. Pixel 4a is also expected to house a 12.2-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.
